Indigo Arimatsu shibori coat 愛知県名古屋市の有松、鳴海地区で江戸時代より作られている“有松鳴海絞り“。 昔の職人の手仕事ならではのガーゼのような優しい肌触りと どこまでも深い藍染の青に絞りの雪のような白さの明暗。 その美しさに目を奪われます。 この貴重な有松絞りの着物を現代でも気軽に羽織って頂けるようにコートにしました。 春夏の羽織としてはもちろん、上からベルトをしてドレスのように着たり 中にシャツなどをレイヤーリングをしても面白いです。 街でも海辺でもスタイリング次第で通年着て頂ける薄手の羽織です。 着て行くうちに深い藍色が優しいブルーへと経年する様も楽しんで頂ける一着です。 color : Indigo

 “Arimatsu Narumi Shibori” has been made in Arimatsu and Narumi areas of Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture since Edo period. The gentle gauze-like texture is unique to the hand woven work by genuine craftsmanship. The beauty of the deep indigo blue color and the pure white of shibori is work of art. To create this amazing fabric it takes a lot of time and effort. So we altered the legacy into a coat for modern living. It will make your look something special in city and riviera as well. Since the fabric is very soft and light It can be worn all year round like a spring/summer coat, as a dress with a belt on, or layering shirts and other items inside. You can also enjoy the aging of the deep indigo color into cobalt blue as wearing for long time. We have carefully inspected the items, but there may be some that we have overlooked.
