Asymmetrical Design and Fabric-

This piece is tailored by combining two types of vintage,
high-quality Yuki Tsumugi silk in an asymmetrical design.

The elastic waist allows you to wear it comfortably
wherever you like, depending on your style.

The Patterned Fabric: Profound Blue-

One fabric, woven with hand-spun threads of crystal clear blue
and deep, almost black navy, is a meticulously crafted textile
that could be described as the profound blue of Japan—
a color so deep it draws the eye inward.

When light hits the surface,
the handwoven texture reveals a serene luster and a rich expression
full of subtle shadow and nuance, a hallmark of true handiwork.

The pattern is a delicate thistle.
The moderate rhythm of the understated crimson color
lends a suitable amount of grace and lightness to
the inherent sophistication of the Yuki Tsumugi.

The Plain Fabric: Warm Texture-

The plain section is woven with hand-spun threads
of varying shades of indigo.

It features a unique texture with characteristic knots
that conveys the warmth of handwork.

Pleating, Craftsmanship, and Authenticity-

The clean, decisive pleats,
reminiscent of modern architecture or traditional Japanese Hakama,
serve to highlight the warmth of the Yuki Tsumugi's handwoven texture.

To maximize the beauty of the Yuki Tsumugi and ensure longevity,
we avoided materials and techniques
that could cause deterioration or fraying,
such as fusible interfacings and overlock stitching.

Instead, the seams are finished with the durable French seam technique.

A part of the fabric edge visible on the reverse side is
the characteristic "Shiromimi" (white selvage),
a sign of authentic Yuki Tsumugi.

To honor this rare material,
we use the fabric to its fullest extent,
ensuring no precious piece is wasted.

Through the shadows and three-dimensionality created
by the fabric's gathers and folds,
combined with meticulous sewing and finishing,
this piece has become a one-of-a-kind garment.

It transforms a work of art and craft into
an item you can wear beautifully for many years.

古い正絹の結城紬二種をアシンメトリーに
組み合わせて仕立てました。

ウエストはゴム仕様で
気分やコーディネートに合わせて
お好みの位置で履いて頂けます。

澄み渡るブルーと黒に近い濃紺の手紡ぎ糸で
精緻に織られた生地は引き込まれるような
深い日本の青と言えるかもしれません。

光が当たると静謐な光沢と陰影をはらむ
手仕事ならではの豊かな表情です。

柄はアザミ。
程よいリズム感の控えめな紅色が
結城紬の気品に程よい可憐さと
軽やかさを与えてくれます。

無地部分は濃淡の異なる藍色の
手紡ぎ糸で織られた手仕事のぬくもりを感じさせる、
節（ふし） が立つ独特な風合い

結城紬の美しさを最大限に活かすため
劣化やほつれの原因となる接着芯や
ロックミシンは使用せずに折り伏せ縫い仕上げ。

裏側の布端の一部に白く見えているのは本場結城紬
ならではの“白耳“と呼ばれるものです。
貴重な生地を無駄にしないよう可能な限り
端まで使い切り仕立てるようにしています。

近代建築や日本の袴を思わせる潔いプリーツが
結城紬の手仕事のぬくもりを際立たせます。

生地の寄せや畳みが生み出す陰影や立体感、
細やかな縫製と仕立てにより
美術工芸品を日常に長く美しく
