貴重な草木染めのビンテージ着物からつくった特別なドレス。
もちろん一点ものになります。
生地は手織りの質の高い正絹で、少し珍しくマットな質感の生地です。
昔の和柄らしい複雑な文様はどこか北欧を思わせるデザイン性もあり
現代のファブリックには無い職人技が詰まっています。
古い着物でもこういう生地はなかなかもう見つけられないかと思います。

台襟付きの小ぶりなカラーと裾までつけたくるみボタンが印象的なドレスは
生地の張り感と独特な柄の雰囲気を活かすためにCOHでは珍しく
テイラーリングの強い西洋的なシルエットで仕上げました。
華やかな文様ですが地が草木染めのため派手になりすぎず落ち着いた印象で着て頂けます。
レイヤーリング次第でオールシーズン楽しんで頂ける一着です。

The unique one and only dress made from very precious vintage kimono dyed with plants and trees.
The fabric is high quality hand woven silk and matte texture.
The intricate patterns are traditional Japanese patterns
yet same time it has some Scandinavian mood.
The botanical dyed textile is filled with authentic craftsmanship not found in modern fabrics.
I think it is hard to find similar fabric in this good even for old kimonos.

The dress has a small collar with a pedestal collar
and covered buttons that go all the way to the hem.
It’s finished in a Western silhouette with full of tailoring,
which is rare for our garments actually,
in order to take advantage of the solid texture of the fabric and the atmosphere of the unique pattern.
Gorgeous and intricate patterns with the natural color dyed with plants and trees,
which means you can wear it in low key not too bold.
This is a dress that can be enjoyed in all seasons.

We have carefully inspected the items, but there may be some that we have overlooked.
