伝統的な大島紬のビンテージ着物からつくったセットアップ。
フランスのゴブラン織、イランのペルシャ絨毯と並び世界三代織物に数えられる大島紬は
鹿児島県南方にある奄美群島の伝統織物です。
奄美エリアに生息する植物の煎汁液と鉄分を含む泥土で染められた深い黒に熟練の職人による緻密な織りが美しいツヤをたたえ150年から200年着られる丈夫な織物と言われています。
その美しさに加えてしなやかで軽くシワになりにくいので旅先で着るのにも重宝する織物です。

プルオーバーの前側はクリーンなボートネック、後ろには貝ボタン、
前後逆で着ると貝ボタンがアクセントになり、異なる表情を楽しんで頂けます。
共布のスカーフを巻くとまた少し華やかな雰囲気になります。
体のラインを拾いすぎない直線的で大らかなパターンで仕上げています。
スカートのウエストはゴム仕様、外ポケット付き。
手織りの正絹着物ならではの軽やかな肌触りと着心地なのでインナー次第で一年中気持ち良く着て頂けます。

The set is made from atuthentic Oshima tsumugi vintage kimono.
Oshima tsumugi is one of the world's three most famous textiles along with Gobelins in France and Persian carpets in Iran.
It is a traditional fabric of the Amami Islands in the southern part of Kagoshima Prefecture.
The deep rich black color is dyed with the decoction of plants living in the Amami area and muddy soil containing iron, and the fine weaving by skilled craftsmen gives it a beautiful luster.
In addition to its beauty, Oshima Tsumugi is supple, lightweight, and wrinkle-resistant, it can be with you during your travels.

The front side of the pullover has a clean boat neck and shell buttons on the back,
When worn backwards, the shell buttons adds a nice accent.
Wearing with a scarf around the neck for a little more glamour.
Since the set is finished with boxy silhouette, you can wear it relaxed.
The skirt has an elastic waist and outside pockets.
The light and soft texture of the hand-woven silk pieces allows you to wear it comfortably all year round, depending on your innerwear.
